Lantz Structures building is a 48,000 sq ft warehouse/manufacturing area with a 3,200 sq. ft. office area, located in Leola, PA. This is a “state-of-the-art” wood shop utilizing assembly line equipment for making wood sheds. The building is designed using diesel generators and hydraulics to operate the equipment. Skylights and wall-lite panels were used to provide natural lighting. The structure is a 150’ wide x 320’ long x 25’ eave height metal building. The walls are a combination of 4’ high poured concrete, pre-finished metal siding and 5’ high “greenhouse type” wall panels. Mezzanines are provided throughout the building. The roof is galvalume standing-seam panels on 1/2:12 pitch, designed with a high-performance energy efficient daylighting system. The office is conventional metal stud framing with 4” split-face block veneer and standing-seam metal roof. The office area also has a skylight system to illuminate various areas. The building is equipped with an automatic sprinkler system.
