Columbia Animal Shelter is dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of at-risk companion animals while providing quality healthcare and adoption services. The vision of this project was to build the best animal shelter in the country, right here in Columbia PA.
The organization bought the former Vigilant Fire Hall, and plans quickly began to repurpose the facility into the new Columbia Animal Shelter. The building was completely renovated into a dazzling new facilty. Demolition began in Summer 2018, and construction was completed in Spring 2019.
Scenic Ridge and Vosburgh Architects teamed on this project to make this dream a reality. Thanks to all who worked to make this another success story!
