BN Excavating’s offices, break room, and conference room were renovated in 2020-2021. Their building is part of the Historic Eagle/ Chickies No. 2 Furnace. The building that was recently renovated dates back to 1854. Showing off the history of the building and timeless architecture was at the forefront of the design for this project. The BN Excavating team worked through every detail with Scenic Ridge down to the final finishes on custom wood work.
BNX, as it is commonly called, was started by Bob Nafziger in 1986, currently his son Jeremy (now majority owner) runs the company. BNX specializes in bulk site work and building pads. SRC and BNX have worked side by side on a number of different projects in the past. We have always enjoyed sitting around job trailers working out details with their team.
The BN project had its interesting details, between operating out of the space while being renovated, to patching in, and refinishing floors that were almost 175 years old! The BN office project proved to be a new and welcome challenge for Scenic Ridge. The final result is beautiful.
