We’re always extremely thankful for all of our clients and truly value every project. It’s especially meaningful when we have the opportunity to work alongside an organization that is making a powerful impact in the community.
Our team at Scenic Ridge Company is grateful to be working with Hope Served in Manheim on their “Cornerstone Project,” transforming the former Manheim Mennonite Church into “The Meetinghouse.”
Hope Served is focused on creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities through job training, employment, and community connection. This project plays an important role in supporting that mission.
This renovation involves turning a historic 1896 building into a space that will serve a wide range of needs, including:
• A teaching kitchen where participants will gain hands-on culinary and food service experience through a structured training program
• A public-facing restaurant and catering operation that will provide real job opportunities, from kitchen roles to front-of-house positions
• Updated accessibility features throughout the building
• Flexible space for offices, classes, community gatherings, and ministry use
It’s exciting to see this building take on new life while still preserving its history. It’s even better knowing the positive impact it will have on so many people in the community.
