Having trained and experienced Tekla and AutoCAD steel detailers allows us to complete 3-D shop drawings accurately and quickly to meet deadlines.
Scenic Ridge can supply and install steel bar joists and metal decking for your project. Joists and metal decking are economical solutions for spanning large open areas. They are mainly used to support floors and flat roofs.
Standard bar joists typically span up to 55′, but we’ve also done custom joists and girder joists spanning over 100′! Metal deck typically spans up to 6 feet, with heavier systems that can span over 10′. We’ve also used acoustical decking, which is perforated and is used for its excellent sound-deadening properties.
One important aspect of a building is the ability to access areas on different levels safely and effectively. The Scenic Ridge steel fabrication shop can fabricate any stairs or railings required for a project. Our typical stair materials include steel pans, diamond-plate, and bar grating. Railings are typically fabricated from steel pipe or tubes, and they can also include architectural metal panels and horizontal cable rail systems.
We also detail and fabricate custom steel stairs and railings on a regular basis. We have done several curved and spiral stairs and railings in recent years, as well as a “floating stairway” and others integrating steel tubes and channels with stained wood treads.

Steel bollards are metal pipes that are anchored into the ground. The use of bollards plays a very important role in protecting your investment. Bollards protect buildings, doors, utilities, and pedestrians from vehicles by providing a perimeter defense. At our fabrication shop, we keep an inventory of 4”, 5” and 6” bollards. Other sizes can typically be ready in a few days!
The custom metal fabrication shop at Scenic Ridge provides many different services such as steel rebar cutting and bending. Rebar is a critical structural part of any building project involving concrete or masonry. We stock our steel fabrication shop with most standard sizes of rebar (#3 thru #8) and can cut or bend rebar to whatever size is needed for your project.
A common component of building construction is the use of steel angles and steel lintels. Scenic Ridge provides both products on a regular basis. We stock a full supply of steel angles in standard sizes and can cut & fabricate them to nearly any specification.
