Pequea Sheds

Pequea Sheds specializes in building sheds, garages, outdoor living and timber frame structures. As the desire for more outdoor living – as well as the need for timber frames – has grown significantly, the need for a larger facility became evident for Pequea Sheds. Scenic Ridge’s existing business relationship with Pequea brought about an opportunity to construct a third building for them as well.

This two-story 80’ x 234’ metal building, located at their existing facility in Kinzers PA, boasts of over 36,000 square feet of usable space. Scenic Ridge designed, fabricated, and built this building. Our own crews installed the concrete and the complete metal building structure. This building’s primary use is for manufacturing post and beam timber frames for outdoor living.

The building features custom translucent sidewall panels which open from the bottom with electric operators, giving the workers lots of natural light in the winter and an open-air feeling in the summer. There is a massive dust collection system which sits on the upstairs floor, and the building also houses a CNC Machine for cutting notches and holes for the timber frames.
